Privacy Policy

This policy is here to tell you how we collect, use, share and protect information gathered from your use of this site. Protecting the privacy and security of your information is very important to us. Visiting the site provides us with certain 'Anonymous' information. Certain voluntary activities on the site may provide us with non-Anonymous information. Details of both are listed below.

General Information

The information, products and services we provide are not intended for children and thus we do not provide services or knowingly maintain any information about anyone under the age of 13. By accessing and using our services you agree that you have reached your majority. If that is not the case please consult with your legal guardian.

We use SSL encryption to secure your access to pages where we think you may enter confidential information. We use industry standard methods of security to protect any information you provide. We take special care with any financial and billing information.

For site security purposes and to attempt to provide the best service possible to legitimate visitors, this system employs software systems to monitor traffic and identify unauthorized attempts to create or modify information without authorization and otherwise cause damage or problems. By using this site you are agreeing to such monitoring. If such monitoring reveals evidence of abuse or criminal activity the evidence may be provided to the appropriate law enforcement officials.

We use cookies to uniquely identify site visitors. The cookie may also allow us to identify a repeat visit to our site. If you do not want us to have access to this information, most browsers can be setup to block cookies. If we send you an email we may include a beacon that will allow us to identify when the email is viewed.

Anonymous Information

Information Collected

When you visit our website we capture certain information that is generally not personally-identifiable. This information may include but is not limited to

  • IP address
  • Information made available by your browser (browser version, OS, Screen resolution, available fonts, etc...)
  • Time and Duration of visit
  • The pages on our site that you view, when you view them and for how long
  • Click Tracking information (where you click on a given page)
  • Other information useful for statistical analysis

Use of Anonymous Information

The anonymous information that we collect is primarily for statistical analysis of our visitors. We also may use it as part of our security system to identify normative and aberrant behavior in hopes of providing better service to those who make legitimate requests.

Sharing Information with 3rd Parties

We may share this information with specific third parties. We may share specific information with certain third parties when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, to enforce our legal rights, to protect the rights and safety of others, or to assist with industry efforts to control fraud, spam, or other undesirable conduct. The information in these cases may be shared with Law Enforcement Agencies, Private Sector Security Service Providers, Contractors, Affiliates and Business Partners.

When we provide information to Contractors, including Service Providers, we select them based on their policies and/or require them to agree to our policies for your protection. We may also share information we have collected as needed to protect or enforce the legal rights of ourselves or other parties (specifically but not limited to copyright protection).

If we wish to provide your contact or personal information to a third party under any other circumstances we will notify you and provide you with a chance to opt out.

At this time we purchase services from other service providers including hosting, analytics and security services. Some of these may also collect information. In these cases their policies apply. Where we are aware of such policies and data collection we try to provide you with the information required for your review and consideration.

We absolutely do not transfer or sell your information for inclusion on third party e-mail or other marketing lists

We may disclose aggregate, anonymous data based on information we have collected to investors and potential partners.

Storage, Protection and Removal of Information

We are a mid-tier service provider. As such we purchase services from other providers for much of the core functionality we offer.

We use various third party service providers for hosting and networking services. Many of these have security systems that monitor traffic flow and do data packet inspection.

We use a third party service provider for most analytics (the collection and collation of the anonymous data). Because of this, the information is not stored on our systems. At this time we are primarily using Google Analytics for this function, and thus they are the ones who hold the data. Do note that we may choose another analytics provider in future either in specific cases or in general.

If we are acquired by a third party we will transfer some or all of the collected information to them.

Non-Anonymous Information

If you share identifying information with us some or all of the otherwise anonymous information may be associated or linked with your identifiable information (thus rendering it no longer anonymous). Please note that all details listed for anonymous data are applicable unless noted.

Information Collected

As a visitor you may specify interest in more information from us and in the process share certain information with us. This may include but is not limited to

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Mailing Address
  • Billing Information (used exclusively for billing purposes)
  • Other details depending on the system (may include photo, nick-name, preferences, etc...)

We may also send you surveys which may request further information - these surveys are entirely voluntary.

If you request technical support we may need further information to assist you. This information is voluntary, however not providing it may prevent us from offering you full support.

We will not intentionally collect or maintain, and do not want you to provide any information regarding medical or health conditions, race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or other sensitive information.

Use of Information

We use this information to provide you with the requested product / information / service. We also use it for regular business processes including but not limited to analytics and to improving our business process, products and service. We may use the information for marketing campaigns. You can opt out of marketing campaigns on request.

If the information submitted is entered into a public resource such as a forum or wiki, this information may be available for the public to view.

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out service related announcements. If you are a customer of ours you will receive these messages and cannot opt out of them. These messages are not of a promotional nature but are directly related to services provided.

Storage and Removal of Information

The majority of this information is stored on our servers in various data stores, and as long as we can locate the information we would be happy to remove it on request. Note that if you are a current customer, some of the information must be maintained for us to offer you regular service.

The information that we store may be kept for an indefinite period. While data loss, alteration or misuse is always possible we take every precaution to prevent such from occurring. Financially sensitive data is primarily stored with a certified provider (such as PayPal), any such information that we store will have extra security precautions in place to protect it as per relevant law.

Do note that an interruption of service that requires us to restore data from backup may restore information we have removed at your request. In this case you may need to re-submit your request to see it removed from the system.

We use various third party service providers for many functions. Because of this, the information may not be stored on our systems.

Your responsibilities

Data you control

You are responsible for the security of your customer ID and passwords. Make sure you keep them in a safe location and do not make them available to others. Log out of your sessions when you are done using our services to protect the session instance. Take extra precautions if you are using a publicly accessible computer (although we do not recommend this as it heightens security risks).

Simple Acceptable Use Policy

For site security purposes and to provide the best service possible to our customers we have multiple security systems in place to monitor network traffic and notify us of 'unusual' activity. Your use of this site indicates your agreement to such monitoring.

You also agree not to attempt to bypass security systems, tamper with site data, or attempt to harm this site, any of the service providers who are associated with this site, or any visitors or customers of this site.

Links from this site to external sources are for your information only and do not necessarily indicate our agreement with, endorsement of or support of the external site. We do not prohibit any inbound links to our site as long as said link does not imply a non-existent endorsement by or affiliation with our website or company.

We seek to provide the highest quality content we can, and try to correct any errors that are brought to our attention. Do note however that the content on this site is provided without any warranty express or implied.

Questions and complaints about any of our policies can be addressed to us directly.

By accessing this site you agree to only use our provided services, products and information for lawful uses.

You may not use our services to send unsolicited communications including but not limited to email.

You may not use our services to send a high volume of messages (bulk email) without proper authorization.

For public services that we make available such as newsgroups, forums, wikis, chat services etc... you agree to only use the services to communicate in a legal and decent manner.
